Attention residents of Park Terrace Apartments (and anyone else who might want to contribute to this great cause)!
Did you know our apartment complex could sign up for FREE recycling? Yup, free. I talked to our management company, and it turns out recycling services are already included with the disposal service our apartment uses. The only thing missing—commercial size recycling bins!
I know WE should not be the ones to purchase these needed recycling bins, but rather than fight with management (we do of course love them), let's just buy the bins ourselves and start recycling. Because I know we DO care and I know I feel guilty every time I throw away recyclables. I think to myself, if only there were recycling bins right by this dumpster…The world will be covered in garbage if we wait for management to provide the bins. That's why we have to do it ourselves. We owe it to our earth.
If every resident buys a tile (only $2!), then we can buy recycling bins and get started. The disposal service will provide us with free promotional (I think they even said something about magnets) and instructional materials to make recycling easy!
Let's do this! Please buy a tile…don't forget, I know where you live!
