Enough Styrofoam
Help me start a campaign to ban Styrofoam in Atlanta!
Cities out west, from Seattle to San Francisco, have created various bans on Styrofoam (or foamed polystyrene to avoid the name brand). Some outright ban all Styrofoam; others just ban restaurants from using Styrofoam as take-out containers. It's time for Atlanta to follow suit. Help me get this campaign off the ground to save the landfills from Styrofoam.
There are many ways to enjoy a cup of coffee…one of them is non-biodegradable (but can be burned to emit dangerous chemicals into our ecosystems).

San Francisco is kind of crazy but this is one thing they're right about and we should follow suit. There's nothing good about Styrofoam products.

Hey Rod, I'm originally from Atlanta and now living in Hawaii where we are fighting for a ban on styrofoam and plastic bags. I also work for a company that provides bio-compostable replacements products and performs community outreach. I will be in Atlanta soon, perhaps we can meet! Aloha!
