Dear Friends and Family,

You have all been so very supportive during these past couple years as I decided to finally search to find my biological mother. It has been a draining time and I would not have made it through all this without you guys. The decision to contact her was not an easy one, but I have so many questions. Tons and tons of questions and very few answers.

Now I have finally been in touch with my biological mother. It was exciting, scary, and unbelievable all at the same time. She lives in New York and has welcomed me to visit. I would very much like to do this, but as you can imagine, most of my reserves went to the search itself. If any of you are willing to help me purchase a plane ticket to New York I will be forever grateful. I hate asking you guys for money, but my desire to meet my biological mother in person overrides my embarrassment. Thank you again and again for all your support.
