Kids Camp Needs Wheels
Our summer day camp needs a new van by summer.We're a non-profit summer day camp serving low-income families at low to no cost. We provide a safe and fun place for kids to spend their summer. Our campsite is a local school (a facility we get to use free of charge because the school district supports our cherished camp). In past years, we've created a rotation schedule to take one small group of kids out at a time to various fun places—parks, the zoo, etc. But our camp van needs repairs beyond its worth. We're in need of a new van by summer—we already have many offsite activities planned and hope we can get the kids there! A new van will be an investment into many fun summers ahead. It might also serve as the catalyst to get a similar after school program going, so the van will be put to good use all year round! The kids shout a big THANK YOU!
