Wolves are being removed from the endangered species list PREMATURELY!The northern Rocky Mountain gray wolf has been removed from the Endangered Species List by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, seriously violating the Endangered Species Act, and placing the already dangerously low wolf population of Wyoming, Idaho and Montana in grave danger. These states can now renew the inhumane policy of killing wolves under the guise of protection of property or recreation. The states in question have also failed to continue supporting the monitoring and conservation of wolves in the region, making it almost impossible for the genetically isolated wolf populations to interbreed and increase their numbers. Scientists agree that removing the wolf from the endangered species list will damage the hard work done in the last 20 years to help rebuild the badly depleted population. We need your support to fight this legally in Federal Court. We also need funding to educate the American public about the importance of protecting wolves, and maintaining their natural habitat without encroachment and harm by humans. Your donations could help save these magnificent creatures that embody the spiritual essence of America’s wilderness.
